Bluetooth is cool. It's a great hands free, wire free way to chat. We have all seen those Bluetooth -enabled earpieces on the ears of people in meetings, at restaurants, at events or walking down the street. I recently was chatting with a friend about a colleague we knew in common. What she told me made me shake my head and 'tsk tsk tsk'.
Has it really come to this? Everytime I say that self-important behavior couldn't get worse... it does. Sadly, there is no dearth of material for those of us to write books, articles and our blessed (or blasted, depending on your view) blogs.
There was a funeral memorial service being held for one of their mutual friends. My friend told me that Ms Colleague walked into the service wearing her Bluetooth! I am not kidding! How self- important must we be to do something so self absorbed?
The message was clear: the deceased is gone, I am over it so Don't Cry For ME, Argentina or anyone else. Be smart and savvy and and know when to be BLue Tooth-Less.
