Biography
I lead two lives: one as an author and one as a speaker who teaches CEOs, professionals, sales people, engineers, food service execs how to meet, mix and mingle and build business relationships. AKA The Mingling Maven, I transform the shy person so they can make the most of any social situation.
Was a public school teacher for thirteen years in some bad neighborhoods and loved teaching although those were some rough times. But the kids were great and watching the light bulb in their brains light up... was rewarding.
Being quoted in such diverse tomes as Newsweek and Maxim makes me smile!
Interests
I'm a movie fan of movies that are real stories without computer generated aliens and such. I take dance classes (Latin, and jazz and love Hip hop. Favorite authors are Janet Evanovich, John LesCroat, Nelson DeMille. A devoted TV watcher and fan of Jon Stewart of The Daily Show, The Actors' Studio, Tough Crowd, South Park, Monk, Gilmore Girls and the Law and Order franchise.
